UGC underground comics started as nebulous productions. it began in september of 1994 with the release of a crudely printed comic called Mabus. rare copies were sold in Duluth Georgia, and Dark Adventures comic store. it was a story about a lost alien who came to earth looking for help to restore his ravaged home world. in the new series "Mabus returns", the story picks up five years later, where its revealed that Mabus' plea for help in the first series was a hoax. he actually had most sinister plans for the earth. an all new series, "the Blue Hood", is set in the near future. after being nuked by japan, the country is a wasteland of mutan
